I am very very suprised that a former marine or veteran, or anyone for that matter has not gone over the edge and killed these worthless fucks already. The post their damn protest schedule on their website. Nobody is waiting a few hundreds yard out with a sniper rifle for them? Perhaps if 5 or 6 of them took a .50 cal to the chest, they would think twice about protesting at anyone's funeral. I know that I'd make it my personal agenda to end these fucks if they showed up at my family members funeral.

I hope you, and all others that feel so strongly about this, are able to realize that NOT ALL CHURCHES OR RELIGIONS ACT LIKE THIS. I went to a Catholic school up until 6th grade, still attend church about twice a month, and I've never, not once, heard my pastor or priest talk about hating anyone else. We disagree with many things, abortion, and homosexuality to name two big ones. But we've never gone and protested a funeral, or bombed an abortion clinic, or anything else like that.
This isn't a Christian saying, but I tend to think about this before passing judgement on others, "Hate the sin, not the sinner." I, along with many others sharing my beliefs, follow that relatively closely. For you to assume that the WBC is comparable or representative of the Christian faith, or that they are a church at all, is a sign of ignorance in my opinion.

i have experience with religion myself and none of it was good.....i personally consider people such as yourself as having "faith" compared to religion (mainly because the word religion covers.....all types Islam,Buddhism..etc)

failchurch is fail. i am not a christian, or anywhere near one. but i have a few freinds that are hardcore bible thumpers, they know im not, but they have never preached to me, or tried to convert me, or anything of the sort. now that i have established a non hatred of all things religious, let me say that this type of thing should not be protected under the first amendment. if i run into a crowded movie theatre and yell fire, its not protected, its reckless endangerment. what they do isnt even close to free speech. its slander and defamation. but it gets covered under the umbrella of free speech. as much as i would love to see these people drawn and quartered for mutiny during wartime, its not the solution. if they really hate this country and beleive god is punishing us for letting "fags" live here, then i think the government should kindly ask them to leave. let them try to protest this way in china or something.

and the way they interpret the bible is at absolute best blind ignorance, the kind of hysterical schitzophrenia that make people join doomsday cults. at worst its the kind of dispicable evil. ive watched the interviews with that phelps woman. look closely at her eyes. theres nothing there but crazy. that look that makes you think someones completly off thier rocker. its actually quite terrifying when you see it.
