Not only the president and the first lady have died in the plane crash, but also a few highly ranked officers of the army, the president of the central bank and more government officials. The whole governement has been truncated. Not to forget a 100 civilians.
There's no conspiracy theory to elaborate. The crash was caused a few seconds before landing with the plane being too low, and hitting a tree line.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

apparently, the pilot was commanded to land even though there were very bad weather conditions.
Because if they had diverted to Minsk they would be late for the ceremony.
