    I think they just tally up how many hits the site gets each day, and uses that to gauge how much ad space goes for on the site. Might not be very accurate, but could be.
    edit: i just read the full thing and thats what they do. maybe 365 x # of years r3v has been online x $44 dollars of adspace

                  but on the off chance it is.. anyone interested in buying a graphic design site? 50% off!

                  edit: that said, the r3vlimited name, domain, all intellectual property (lol), etc are actually worth quite a bit of money.
