Sad thing is people probably believe this is how animals are normally treated by farmers, which is not the case. This is exactly the opposite of how to motivate cows, as others have said a cow is a very stubborn animal and do require some things may not be "normal" to city folks. This video is very sad.

So you would stomp the shit out of one of your cows or stab them 50 times with a pitchfork? thats what I though.....that is just fucked upI bet you guys cry about the male chicks going into grinders too.
Who here has ever owned a cow? They are fucking stubborn animals, sometimes you gotta punch them in the head.
Ever hear of a Cowpuncher?
I own three, I know what I'm talking about.
Most funny fact, all the whining is coming from Californians.

You are a nozzle, did you not read anything I said after that?
Never stomped, never pitchforked, but I have punched Bessie in the head/side a few times. It's akin to swatting a dog on the nose for being bad.Comment

It is really worth it, the flavor and quality is amazing. And I agree wholeheartedly with you on all accounts.Originally posted by CJGthats fucked up. i love steak and all kinds of meat but this just makes me want to raise my own cows for food rather than trust some sadistic inbred redneck douchebag to do it for me just so i know i am not supporting that kind of treatment of animals. sure you can smack it in the ass a few times to get it to move but theres no need to stab it with a pitch fork or pin a calf to the ground and repeatedly punch it in the face
Here is a pic of one of my freezers.

There is nothing like local, fresh product after spending your whole life thinking you actually know what stuff tastes like. It's like having a meal in HD when you get the flavors out of this stuff. I'd suggest it to everyone.Comment

Cows in general are a lot like a 2-3 year old, they don't want to do anything but what they want. That being said for a stupid animal, they can be trained but it requires treating them like a 2000lb 2 year old kid. Force is required. That being said as a person who has been to many dairies this video is not normal treatment.
Also even with brass knuckles or a cow punch, cows are really not phased much by a punch sometimes; cows are very very strong.1985 BMW 325e
