Movie - "Green Zone"

Just finished watching "Green zone" with Matt Damon, based on a book by Ravij Chandrasekaran entitled "Imperial Life in the Emerald city".

"Green zone" takes place during the early days of the invasion of Iraq, and is the story of a group of military who's mission is to find WOMD according to internal Intelligence. After raiding several sites with always the same absence of WOMD, Roy Miller (Matt Damon), the squadron's chief, is starting to ask questions as things just don't make sense... He teams up momentarely with a CIA agent while some Washington officers don't want him to find the truth...

Movie is now available off torrent network as a superb DVD rip...

Movie is action packed but predictable. Don't expect anything new about Iraq. Not to mention the last shot which is quite cheezy. Yup, you guessed. Oil refineries...

Then this is the top post of the forum. So it wasn't that terrible Lee? Anyways I got plenty of definitely good movies I still need to see, so it doesn't matter

It wasn't as great a Bourne flick or as "Book of Eli". Scenario was predictible (just like a Jesus movie, we know how it ends up) but overall it was well made and enjoyable. Nonetheless, it sure is not a "patriotic" movie, and not brilliant enough to say "wow". But overall good. Also, watching movies at home makes me a less difficult viewer. I even managed to find "Hot Tub Time Machine" interesting...
