    Negative feedback on ebay?

I sold a laptop a few days ago on ebay, and some guy with 0 feedback sniped it at the last second. I didn't see a payment for 2 days so I shot him an email asking when he would be able to pay. I get a response "i change my mine sorry"

Did ebay change something with negative feedback? I don't even get an option to leave negative, only positive or "I'll leave feedback later." I can't seem to find any info on it.

I want to put this fuckbag at -1 so he has to make a new account.

I'm not sure how that works. Ebay really pisses me off now. It's just not like it used to be.

Since when can you even back out of a purchase? I thought that it was a legally binding contract that you had to fulfill after winning the auction (or something along those lines)

ebay changed things a while back, so that only buyers can leave Neg FB, so if a buyer dose not like something they dont get retaliatory Neg feed back from a seller.

Its crap. Selling on ebay has become very bad and hard on anyone thats not a Business. They dont want us little people selling anymore

Sellers cannot leave negative feedback anymore, it's fucking gay.
The only thing you can do is file an Unpaid Item claim or whatever against him, but I think he has to have a couple of those on his profile for eBay to do something about it.

Wow, didn't know that. I haven't used ebay to sell anything in a while because the costs are getting pretty out of control.

I haven't used eBay in a couple of years now. I can find 99% of what I'm looking for on Amazon or elsewhere online now, and usually on Craigslist.

You still should be able to file a non-paying bidder claim which does go on the buyer's record. Plus, this will refund your listing fees.

                      the fees are crazy...

and who is going to pay for the auction fees if there was only 1 bidder and he backed out?
