:roll:What movies would you like to see a sequel or prequel made for? Not talking a shitty straight-to-dvd flick here, talking same director, same actors if applicable, big budget Hollywood blockbuster.
Here's my list:
1. Heat
2. District 9
3. The Matrix trilogy (sequel or prequel)
4. Terminator 3Comment

Umm...
"History of the World - Part 1" ;)
Seriously now - most good movies (and these are more and more to find lately) would be absolutely ruined by a sequel/prequel.
Is there any good flick of which a sequel was better than original? Aprart from Star Wars ep.IV-V maybe... Even T2 was worse than T1 IMO.

Exception for the Bourne Trilogy. Maybe because these movies were novels before hitting the big screen.
Before the early 1980s, there were no sequel/prequel. None that I can remember. First one could have been "Star War", but could also have been "Rambo" or "Nightmare on Elm Street".Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

another sequel to starwars would be interesting. serenity and UHF would be awesome.
I'd think a Fifth Element sequel would be pretty sweet :D

T2 is WAYYYYYY better than T1. Aliens is better than Alien. Godfather 2 was better than Godfather 1. Empire Strikes Back, Dark Knight, etc.Comment

T1 - plot, T2 - effects
Alien - the feeling, Aliens - effects
SW: empire strikes back - true
Batman (with Nickolson as Joker) - plot, Dark Knight - effects (a good movie though)
Basically it shows special effects is what you are looking for in the movies.
Which is fine.
I just appreciate plot, feeling etc. much more. I don't like when studios take a really good plot, alter it a bit, throw a bunch of effects and call it a masterpiece.
And Godfather?? Geez man, read the f***n book! It's a trilogy based on ONE book! I don't even consider these as separate productions.
