Moving to California!

Hi!

So here's the story, I'm 23 years old I live in Brisbane, Australia and I've managed to land an opportunity through work to move to the Usa for 3 years at our US based company.
The company itself is in Ontario, and I believe i'll be living in 'Rancho Cucomongo'
Basically i'm just wondering what the whole Los angeles/ surrounding area is like!
Is los angeles even considered close to those area's, according to google maps its like 40mins, 2 hours in traffic!

I've never been to the usa so this is a pretty crazy change of events for me, should I be worried about getting capped at stop lights, shot for crossing the wrong street? Attacked my crazy christians for wearing a black shirt? or will I be rocking out at awesome places every weekend.

I'll be getting a company car so travelling is freeee, basically whats the dealio?! Will I love it, or should I be afraid....very afraid...

Rancho is beautiful. Go to The Deli and have a sandwich. trust me, it is the best. My company has a warehouse there, and i love it 100% more than LA.
