I actually just moved away from a the next town over from Rancho. It's a good place, there's an awesome mountain road right there.

I was born in England and move to Aus when I was about 9, and while I do have an Australian accent (for most parts) i've been told that when people hear me talking at home im 100% Eng accent to my parents.
Also when I get drunk...its England all the way...

Hi!

So here's the story, I'm 23 years old I live in Brisbane, Australia and I've managed to land an opportunity through work to move to the Usa for 3 years at our US based company.
The company itself is in Ontario, and I believe i'll be living in 'Rancho Cucomongo'
Basically i'm just wondering what the whole Los angeles/ surrounding area is like!
Is los angeles even considered close to those area's, according to google maps its like 40mins, 2 hours in traffic!

I've never been to the usa so this is a pretty crazy change of events for me, should I be worried about getting capped at stop lights, shot for crossing the wrong street? Attacked my crazy christians for wearing a black shirt? or will I be rocking out at awesome places every weekend.

I'll be getting a company car so travelling is freeee, basically whats the dealio?! Will I love it, or should I be afraid....very afraid...

Far from the beach, 3 hrs from vegas, Hot in the summers. Drive down to Huntington Beach, Newport beach for the ocean. Drive to LA/OC for the bars/clubs, and whenever you have a chance go to central california ( beautiful spots )

I used to live right there. I used to run an auto shop in Rancho. If you are paying for your own housing, I suggest Upland. You will have a nice area, and be close to freeway access to Ontario area.

Far from the beach, 3 hrs from vegas, Hot in the summers. Drive down to Huntington Beach, Newport beach for the ocean. Drive to LA/OC for the bars/clubs, and whenever you have a chance go to central california ( beautiful spots )

Google maps has Huntington @ just over an hour, and im loving the 3 hours to vegas, the plus side coming from Aus anything under say...4 hours drive is fine with me lol, takes me 10 hours to drive to tropical North Queensland, and its still another 13hrs from there to get to the tip of the state!
Hell I'd drive to vegas every weekend @ 3 hours!

okay so you're old enough for the bars. what's your scene? i know a club for damn near every one lol. there's this sushi joint in rancho that has a DJ and a bar and goes 21+ after 9 or so. the sushi is cheap and so are the drinks
