Woodworking. Specifically making skateboards. Down here in Cali, these boards are great fun on the boardwalks and even in the hills (if your experienced).
So here's my latest piece: Made from African Mahogany, Maple, and Walnut.
The dimensions are 1/2"x28"x7.65"
Gluing the strips yesterday...


This morning, ready to cut


After cutting out on the bandsaw a nice Zflex shape. Rough sanding and drilled holes.


More fine sanding and a quick coat of mineral oil.


Beautiful grain.

Some shots with my 36 inch board. It cracked, hence the new board.


More to come. I still need to put the griptape and trucks on.
