anyone ever been to lake conesus in geneseo ny for the 3rd/4th?
they have a thing called the ring of fire... everyone around the lake has a fire going and flares lit burning in the banks. not to mention tons of alcohol, tons of fireworks, and camping out along the lake.
a pyrotechnician also lives a few houses down, so we were front row for a massive 45 minute long amateur/pro setup. this isnt my pic or even from this year, but to give you an idea of what it looks like for every house along the huge lake.
