I am not against his decision, but he would have been "Greater" if he won in Cleveland, as opposed to if he does in Miami.

7 years, tons of money to the city, charity work.. 7 FUCKING YEARS!! Even Kevin Garnett who stayed alone(mostly, even if he has some help for a few years) had to leave after 12 years. His words of advice to Lebron were to make a decision early and win or stay, be a local hero and not win. Plain and simple, he should've gone to chicago but miami will definitely be entertaining if nothing more.

Yea the Cavs record was amazing last year. They should've gotten a lot further then they did. Miami will win next year's championship.

This pretty much sums it up right here. I don't see how you could argue with that. You can bitch about it all you want, but put yourself in his shoes. Home town loyalty gets you only so far, clearly.

Funny I came accross this thread. I have an asian friend visiting and I had to sit and explain to him the lebron thing because it was the talk of everyone everywhere this past week. Then later he asked what the deal with lindsey lohan was because again it was all over the news, web etc. He then reflexes for about two minutes and then just explodes in anger about how can us americans feel so damn proud of a country that's more concerned in a "white trash POS girl doing jail and a hustling n**** next payday" then the worst natural disaster EVER which is still happening on our ocean side. My jaw dropped and I was kinda surprised by his remarks but then I realized he was right. Not about using the "N" word though.

Should have gone to Chicago. :( I miss the glory days of M.J.

I guess he's just looking to get his nut on some fine honeys on South Beach... That's what's up.

    1. BIG NBA star.
    2. Free Agent
    3. Leaves home town for #1 rival (Miami)

    THE DECISION.

Being a Canadian sports fan I really have no attachment to any NBA teams and mostly just cheer for players. I understand people being upset and agree it sucks for Cleveland but when they showed people burning James jerseys that seemed a little extreme to me. Lebron doesn't have much he hasn't accomplished aside from winning the NBA championship. I don't see how you can blame him for going where he thinks he has the best chance to win a championship.

That said I think Chicago with Lebron would have been a better team than this new Miami team. Should be fun to watch though.

Id be pissed off to. This guy grew up & raised in Cleveland and promised the championship ring. Then went to the #1 enemy. Not respectable.. but business is business & creating a big three head monster is the business.
