That shit you linked is from January and I have done deals since then and no holds were ever placed. Color me skeptical.

I spoke WITH paypal today, it's not a BS email. They are enforcing this new policy, but couldn't tell me who/how they select accounts. I have done deals as recent as this week, this just came up.

This is such BS. If you sell on ebay you are required to accept paypal and your listing will be terminated early if you state any other form of paymnet.

I make decent money selling stuff on ebay, but this is going to suck big time.

They did this to my account as well. If you are selling on ebay then it is not really that bad they release the funds as soon as the person leaves feedback.

Yes, but not limited to ebay only from what I gather.

I think it is for newer sellers.

I bought a netbook and received it but I'm pretty lazy when it comes to putting up feedback.

The seller emailed me asking that I post feedback ASAP so the funds would be released to them.

If I knew of this new policy I would have posted feedback right away instead of waiting 3 weeks to do it.

Regardless I still hate using Paypal as they rape you with the fees and can freeze your account and funds at any time.

I have a Premier account linked to a bank account, and also have a PP debit card. There has been thousands of dollars going through there ever since opening my site, and more before that. They have put holds on seller's accounts for being tardy on shipping (resolved) and refunded me on a bogus charge - never had a single problem. If you don't like the fees, then try accepting credit cards direct, and if you accept AmEx, forget it! Their fees is just the cost of doing business, have to take that into consideration when selling products.

Nope, I've been with ebay/paypal for/over 10 years... 100% positive feedback and no issues. That is why I have a problem with this ;)
