I think that women are better at managing money then men. Mine is way better then me she's never had to borrow $ from me.

          this.

my gf hasnt paid her tuition from last semester. and the only reason she managed to go last semester was i paid her bills from the PREVIOUS semester. she makes ~$400/month working retail. if she actually saved her money she'd be able to pay what her financial aid doesnt cover. which is around $1500-2000. she has spent the entire summer spending money on other things.

if she is not in school by september 1st. im breaking up with her.

and i gave her an e30 so she could stop using the bus. last february. she still does not have her license. and she still wastes 2 hours to go 10 miles using public transportation.

whatever. you can lead a horse to water...

my girlfriend is great, anything i want/need she'll give me, but we've been together for a long while now, and she's more of a bestfriend/girlfriend to me now, so we've come to respect each other. financially, she manages her cash great, makes bank too being a waitress..

Part of the reason I broke up w/ the last GF was her lack of finacial responsabiliy, I did get her to get better at it and start paying things down. I met her and she had just bought a new 50K Tahoe paying $780 mo for 7 years, a large CC balance @28% interest, buying stupid shit all the time, making bad money decisions etc. Give a 24 y.o blonde a 65K paycheck and watch the balling commence. Me on the otherhand pay cash for everything and dont buy it unless I have said cash, save save save all my money and dont blow on stupid shit (save for money pit E30) Every women I have dated/ LTR/ married have been horrible with money.

The e30 SEEMS like a money pit...that is because we buy things that are not REALLY needed to make it work right. We mod and improve over stock. Even then the most modded out E30 with every thing you want would still be under or around 15k That still alone is less than a brand new shit Hyundai.

I hope your luck changes and you find a woman that is good with money.

P.S. to flamers on the cost of modding. I know you can spend WELL over 15k on just the engine parts alone. I was being reasonable that most well modded e30s are under 10k and still have shit loads of cool stuff done.

Short term yes the can. Long term plans just involve getting married or remarried if the money runs out.

To those who have to pay the bills of their women, ditch the anchor and find someone who makes their own money.

You'll never get to spend money on you/car/savings/401k if you're constantly picking up the slack for someone else, grow to resent her, etc. Unless you just like being broke because of a chick, if that's the case then carry on.

When I met my fiancé, she didn't own a credit card, 3.5yrs later, she only has one and uses it sparingly and is building a good credit history while scoring cash back on every purchase.

I on the other hand learned the hard way when I was younger, and cut up two cards after the balances were paid off, and now only have 1 in regular use.

Good credit takes years to build, and only 30 days to ruin.

Perhaps you'll find the grass greener on the other side.

A man could use your thriftiness around the house.
