Dude first of all chill the fuck out. It takes 21 days before the money can be withdrawn completely from the account after which you truly are fucked because paypal won't help you even if you win a dispute with them. That said customs is hit or miss you really should know this by now. Shipping stuff to Canada can take a fucking long time if it gets stopped at customs.

I went through all this shit getting my s52 up to BC from Cali, stupid seller taking a week to answer my e-mails etc. All in all it took a month before the lazy cocksucker got his act together and shipped the damn thing, well I did most of the footwork to get it shipped for that matter anyway.

All I can say is hound him repeatedly, and for the love of god if this is a big money transaction get all his contact info beforehand. I.e. name address and phone number, and cross check that these match up in the phonebook to make sure you aren't being conned. Finalize the sale over the phone so you at least know that the phone number is real.

Are you talking about PayPal's new policy?
Because if you are, it's not across the board. The 21 day waiting period is done to random accounts, not to every single one.

I just did a PayPal transaction and got the money into my BA within 3 days.
