Very strange noises coming from my Sirius radio, Sunstorm related?

I have been getting weird noises, not unlike the ones heard in the movie Independence Day when the satellites were becoming affected by the alien crafts.

I recall hearing about Maine and other northern areas on the east coast getting Aurora Borealis sightings soon, and thought it might be related. I've heard we are in for a high season of solar flares in the coming months, and recall the sat issues we had the last time we were in a high solar activity time period.

Thoughts?

Mine just has a tendancy to tune back to channel one, the preview channel... But I thing that is because I leave it turned on to close to the microwave at work. Now a good deal of the time that I listen to Octane it changes itself back to channel one.

Yeah, I have one of the portable radios that I can use any place, made by Samsung and it has 1 GB of storage to record songs too, but it picks up radio even outside its dock, so the only time i listen to the recorded stuff is when I am taking a drive and there are lots of trees around! With your dish network subsription you luck out and get if free through TV... I pay somewhere between $10-13 a month to listen to mine... I hate commercials that much! And listening to Jason Ellis curse up a storm telling some story that is funny as fuck is great!
