i will still watch it, but it obv will not replace the real tg.

all the car shows in the US just seem like they are aimed at people who know nothing about cars, which is annoying. this seems to be more of the same.

No, its just not on the same level as UK TG is. Its one thing to road test super cars and trash bangers in challenges, but the show has to be interesting, the presenters have to be intresting, the show needs to make you laugh or smile and make you feel smarter after the program is over which are things that the UK version has. However, Like with much American TV, this show will make you feel dumber after watching it.

It seems like they are acting way too much to reproduce the comments that JC, Hammond and May would usually give to describe cars during a test drive. If that's the case, they should just hire Hollywood actors to cast the show.

I would watch it just for the cars. It can never replace the real top gear.
