Anti-virus Software

Just wondering what everyone on R3V uses. What do you guys like/dislike about your software?

i just got a new pc for college and its in need of some protection

Your school doesnt require a certain software? Im starting college this year and they gave us a free antivirus we have to use. Its called Symantec Endpoint Protection. So far its worked pretty well, I have it set to do a full (1-2hr) scan every week and an active scan (20 min) every day. I got a new pc too so i want it to stay clean! :P

This although hit up your computing services website because even if they dont require most decent schools provide one.

Anyone use AntiVir? I was having issues with AVG Free getting some stuff cleared out, uninstalled AVG, ran AntiVir, and it cleared all the files AVG couldn't get.

You apparently don't enjoy some of the finer things the web has to offer. :hitler: The rest of us warm blooded american males need a good AV.

I like nod32 from ESET. It's slim, and constantly updating.

AVG free if you really want something but I've never used anti virus and always been fine.
