                I cost too much :)

I used this with my PC:
Buy now the best antivirus program for all your devices. Protect your computer, tablet, and smartphone against all types of viruses, malware, and ransomware.

                And this also:

I now have a Mac and don't know what I should use. I guess Macs are really good about not getting Viruses on them. I don't know for sure sense I have had it for about a month or so.

Malwarebytes owns all. And it's free.

It's pretty good on cleaning spywares etc.. but not good as an anti-virus. It blocks almost every single website (including google lol)..

I just use it if i do happen to get a virus which is very rarely, you really do have to be ignorant with computers to need software which scans your computer daily. If your that bad with viruses just stay off the internet and pick up a newspaper.

HiJack This is also pretty good at catching stuff in startup and running processes. I like the fact that you can delete files before windows boots as well.

AVG free. No point in using much else except for maybe a paid version of AVG. Have tried just about everything out there for a significant amount of time, including Avira and NOD32.

Got a virus the first day with Avira, that didn't last too long. I couldn't get used to NOD32 so I went back to AVG. NOD32 certainly isn't bad.

AVG and malwarebytes is an excellent combo, and it's completely free, if you know that you are infected let malwarebytes run a scan and AVG will actually pick things up from that, even if it didn't show up in an AVG scan. As with any AV out there, you will never be 100% secure, but it's not too often that I have issues.

I just use it if i do happen to get a virus which is very rarely, you really do have to be ignorant with computers to need software which scans your computer daily. If your that bad with viruses just stay off the internet and pick up a newspaper.
I'm very tech savvy, and I still have problems on a semi regular basis. Most people do need software that scans their computer daily(or at the very least weekly), and they also need something with some sort of real time protection.

^Also - it's irresponsible to be doing online banking/paypal with out an AV. When you get a virus that steals your CC/account numbers, the rest of us have to pay for that.

And - don't come crying to us when you can't get a loan that you need cause someone jacked your credit score when they stoke your identity.

I once had a virus that was from some russian hacker. It toook all my jpgs and turned them into text files - you'd go to view the picture and it would be some russian sentence about how some political prisoner should be freed or some shit. Yea, I enjoy that one. Lost all my bmw pics.
