BTW, Fiat has been around where I live for quite a while now. They have a fleet of 500s that run around with fiat decals all over the place. Pretty cool looking cars, saw one in Santa Cruz on my way down. I'm stoked for the euro focus. However, fwd is the biggest tease with that car.
new trend in the american car companies

They did, it's called the Caprice now. The hitch? Cop only model. From appearances it looks like the US automakers are doing well, but I still question the decision to kill off the G8. Even though Pontiac ceased to exist I think they could have moved the platform over to Chevy or something, the G8 GXP would have been a great bargain used if they produced more of em.

There are (finally) some American cars I would love to buy. Not that they're actually American, but anyways...
G8 GXP (r.i.p., I will probably never know you)
Sky Redline (same story)
Fiesta 5-door (4-door is so fucking ugly)
And the 500 Abarth SS, of course
Pretty much agree with post #1, totally
One of the reasons I personally think the previous European cars imported to the US have flopped so bad is that they were changed so much before coming here. Softer suspension, more weight, less equipment, more cupholders, turning hatches in to sedans, etc.Comment
