Anyone ever catch a Raccoon/ raise one as a pet??

on a side note, i did have a pet squirrel however, only till it was old enough to fend for itself then i released her.

I never have, but i know of a guy who did. He actually farm raised them...would kill the raccoons and make hats of them.

I adopted some baby skunks once. My dog ate the mother, so I took it upon myself to feed them until they were old enough to run off and spray shit. They were really cute

My wife just went through the full series of rabies shots 'cause she grabbed this big fucker as it was fighting with the dog...



She grabbed it by the nape of the neck and it spun around in it's skin and bit her twice on the forearm...13 injections later and she's doin' fine.

We had a baby one that we raised that was running across the lawn one day at the park, cute little fucker. Was about as gentile as they got. There was 4 of them in the system ( seemed like every park had one ) and he was by far the best, we let run around in the office on his own all the time. You couldn't let him and crow out at the same time, they had some serious hate for each other ( the crow was a little bastard, never trusted that fucker ).
