computer problem not sure where to put this.

Not really sure where this should have gone.

Let me explain this to you the best that i can.

If i go onto youtube, to the browse videos area, it will start to load and then all of a sudden the screen goes white, just the area where the website would be. Not the address bar or where the home button is. It is almost like it is trying to open another website but nothing happens afterward. This also happens while watching videos, as in i will click on the video and then as it is starting to play while still loading, the screen will go white; but the weird thing is that the audio is still playing fine just no image. The wierder thing is if i go to a persons channel where all their videos are everything works normal.

I am using firefox and windows vista if that helps. This only started about a week ago. Everything used to be fine.

I will answer any question best i can.

Any help is appreciated. this is very frustating:crazy:

Did you try searching for the problem on Google? There are some answers. Try disabling the hardware video acceleration by right clicking onto the flash content then select settings.

You should download Google Chrome. It's awesome.

i did search on google but none of the problems were really the same. either it was entering into full screen or it was just the video for them that went white. mine is the entire webpage.

Try un-installing Firefox, run both Lavasoft's Ad-Aware, and Malwarebytes anti-virus (both are free), then re-install Firefox. It seems like its more of an issue with the browser, but malware and viruses can end up screwing up different things on a PC

I know I don't have many posts(hell I don't even have an BMW yet. Waiting for the Alfa to sell.)

Clear out all your temp files. Clear your browsing history. Cookies and all that crap.

My guess is that will fix it if no scans pick up anything.

More then likely you have a bad cookie saved somewhere that is glitching out. The other suggestions are also good places to start.

Either that or Vista is a giant pile of crap OS. :)

Considering you can put Mac OS on a PC I would prefer to build a more powerful machine at half the cost and put the OS on it saving even more cash.

Get Linux. Much better than mac or pc. :)

Anybody who has issues with Windows simply does not know how to use a computer.

I did the mac thing, OSX is such a PITA for me to use, nothing works as it should, it won't talk to anything without pulling strings, and it takes me 3 times longer in OSX to do the same thing in Windows.

Windows 7 > OSX any day of the week. At least Microsoft is innovating again, Apple is beating a dead horse. Snow Leopard is what, a glorified patch?
