yeah, chris doesn't pay attention to the site as much as he should but, when he does, he rules with an iron fist. I almost got banned for defending another member's right to his own opinion - TwoJs may remember - and then arguing with chris over the right of site members to post their opinions. it was fucking silly...the first time we had seen a post from chris in 3 mo. and he shits on people for not liking what was in the said in the thread and suspending accounts n shit

Obviously, there isn't. But it's not too much to ask a grown man running a forum to not act the way he did.

Chris called out a guy because he sells a lot (by a lot, I'm going to guess 12 sets or so per year?) of rare wheels without paying to be a sponsor. He wasn't really even advertising. IMO, it seemed Chris just wanted to get some money and saw a way to do it. For some reason in this situation Chris became what you see when a 13 year old has a forum and is pissed off after said individual didn't like the options he had, pay or leave. He made a thread saying goodbye. It's almost like Chris had the mentality (again in this instance, don't know the guy) that someone is out to overthrow him and he had to demonstrate his almighty power rule a forum.

The situation didn't call for the excessive admin dictatorship role, and when others gave their two cents, he simply threatened to ban or did ban people. He didn't care what his user base was saying. It was dumb.

Politics about a forum noone even cares about.. I actually registered there in 06 before the "you have to pay cutoff".(which was complete horseshit btw) And for some reason the admin still said I had to pay to have full access, due to him deleting my account. Kind of bitter about it, but I donated anyway- Told me he'd give me some stickers, never did. Completley understandable people have real priorities outside of cars, but why let it it turn into a 1/2 ass website? Pass the torch man.
