The part where he climbs out of the cage and has to go around the beams to get up to the mast is the most insane part. Other than that, he is mostly on a ladder.
As for the part at the top when he takes both hands off. That's just silly. It also is against OSHA regs. You need to maintain three contact points or else you need to have a harness and lanyard.
