Dude, that is no joke... Our Web Guy has a Mac Pro. With VMWare Fusion installed for an XP VM, we can't directly bind to his NIC, so his stupid VM runs in NAT mode. For running on a "Linux" core, they stripped all the useful things out of it.

Don't even try running VLAN's on it. FWO! :hitler:

i'm saying for the average user, mac is all over what scott mcneely of sun described accurately as a hair ball of an operating system - windows.
it is not easy to use unless you really like to know how computers work and why you have to hit the freaking start button to turn it off. LOL

1. Click Apple
2. Click Shut Down
3. Are you sure you want to shut down? Yes
4. OS X could not shut down because the application _____ is running
5. Close _____ application
6. Click Apple
7. Click Shut Down

10. Click _____ application in menu bar
11. Click quit _____ application

13. Press COM + OPT + ESC
14. Select application to force quit

Not saying this happens to every Mac when you try to shut it down, but it's what I deal with ALL FUCKING DAY.
