so Im running up to the store on my ruckus and my phone rings. I answer it and its bobby cooper. I told him I was on my scooter and Id call him when I got out of traffic. I hung up but noticed I had a text. so traffic was light and i decided to answer the text as long as I had the phone out. I just finished texting this dude and I see the cop behind me. He pulls me over and gives me a ticket for inattentive driving. I was going 30mph tops when i was texting and there was hardly anyone around. Dont these fuckers have anything better to do??

Say you were dialing/pressing "green" on your phone to activate your hands-free device. Just say the ear piece was on the ear opposite of the cop(or maybe it was dark and he can't see anyways).
The law doesn't mention anything about dialing on your phone, just texting, talking, and web browsing in MN.
You also don't have the "hand-held" law like us in Cali; meaning you simply can't have the phone in your hand.

I really hate people who text/ipod while driving, espically when I am on a motorcycle. It is my biggest personal pet peeve.

It sucks and maybe he could have given a warning, but how many times have you witnessed poor driving with someone texting.

It wasnt a big deal Im really good on the etk. Some dude needed a distributor cap and wires for his e28. I was looking up pricing and texting him total costs shipped. It took maybe 45 seconds and traffic was light. Like I said I was doing maybe 30mph tops. I hardly think I deserved a ticket

I disapprove of anyone driving a vehicule, not concentrating on their driving. That includes applying make-up, reading newspaper, jerking off and texting/chatting on a cellphone.
