As i've had many Supermicro servers die at work the past 4 months my own personal Supermicro (that hosts R3V) has decided to give me a fit.

The OS Bluescreened..which is NEVER does.. possible hardware problem.. going to monitor it. If it does it again, R3V is moving to a new HP Proliant

        Whew...

I was going into withdrawls. Of all days to go down, r3v goes down on my day off...

alright last reboot done.. ran a firmware update to see if that fixes anything.

If it goes down again, new server time!

                    Wait. R3v runs on windoze?

And here I was thinking it was running off hacked up motronic machine code.

If it was Linux it would SegFault :-p

Windows on this machine is rock solid. I do all my hosting on the MSFT IIS platform, it just works better for my integration requirements.

Hardware problems are hardware problems, even Linux can't survive that :-p
