Just picked up an HTC EVO 4G today to ditch my 3G iPhone, even though we dont have 4G here, this phone is significantly faster than my iPhone.

Fuck you AT&T. Also my phone bill is going to be about $40 cheaper per month.

I fucking hate At&T. I owe them 40 dollars from 12 years ago or whenever they switched from analog to digital. That was a long time ago. They are still trying to get it from me. Ive never been late or welched on a debt in my life but they fucked me over on that 40 dollars and they will never see it. They are tenacious though I will give them that. I have long conversations with them telling them why Ill never pay them but they keep calling

This is good info. I still have about 9 months remaining on my iPhone 3G S contract and when it comes due I plan to look for something else. Other brands of smart phones have been evolving....particularly HTC....and by next summer there's sure to be more cool options available. As for Sprint, I don't know a whole lot about the quality of their service in my area. I'll have to research that more prior to my next phone purchase.

Glad your happy, been with Sprint since the 90s. But I'm waiting for their next 4G with a keyboard, not really diggin the Epic too much..

I'm working on the interface, not quite as intuitive as the iPhone. But I can tell it holds alot more potential.

I would have gotten the new Droid X or whatever but Verizon service is too expensive, even with my company discount.

My phone bill is about to go from $115/month to $70/month. And now that the wife's phone is on my discount her's will go from $130/month to $70/month.

Yeah, the Epic has a much more beautiful screen but the EVO seems like a better all around phone.
