Tell me about a good cheap smart phone

My wonderful wife flat out lost her iPhone a couple of days ago. I refuse to buy her a new one out of contract or an older one. The 3GS is just to slow. So, anything that would be a good used phone good for the next 5 months.

I had a blackberry pearl then bought a 3g right when the 3gs came out. With the 4.0 + ios the phone slowed down big time at least for me and my wife. Is sold my 3g and got the 4 and absolutely love it. The blackberry has it's pro's but more than not I hated the phone. She can just get what ever comes our way now.

Craigslist is your friend.
You can pick up a used iPhone replacement for about the price of the subsidized contract price.
Used Blackberry Bolds go for around 100-200 in my area and there are tons of them. Android smartphones are few and far between on AT&T, ones worth buying used and paying good money for at least.

Look into some Droid offerings.....particularly the ones made by HTC. Those are some nice lookin' phones. I may consider one after my iPhone 3GS contract runs out next June.

Listen. I'm not getting her an iphone now. She just lost one. They are $200 for the new 4 in February when she is eligible for an upgrade. The 3's are to damn slow. She will just have to slum it with a bb for now. Thanks for trying. Imdashiz and Fiftytakedowns; we might just have to talk.
