After losing my wallet last month, I got a pretty sweet Polo passcase wallet from Marshalls, a local closeout / discount department store.

I took the passcase out because I can't stand bulky wallets. I also can't stand paying >$40 for a wallet, so when I paid $20, I felt like I got a decent deal.

It's just kinda thick on it's own. I used have one of those large thin billfolds from Hermes that my aunt got me, but it was getting long in the tooth.

I usually try to keep some cash on me as well as the check card, insurance stuff, and a few business cards in case I run into a networking opportunity.

Go to target, buy black or brown fake leather wallet for less than 20 bucks and it'll last for at least 4-5 years...Guys talking about accessorizing there wallet is the gayest thing I've heard in awhile. It stays in your pocket, who gives a fuck what it looks like.

dude, i dunno about you, but i spend way less time with my car than with my wallet. it's not as though i'm going broke, i don't hesitate to spend money on my car, so if i can choose between handling some piece of shit target wallet and something that feels & looks a lot nicer for the next half a decade or more, i'll happily shell out some extra bucks.

Plus, chicks dig a nice well organized wallet. It lets them know you are a guy that knows how to handle money(even if in reality you are broke). And that gets their panties wet.

If your wallet has Velcro, you need to spend the $40 to upgrade to a big-boy wallet.

i'm with you. it's not that i'm looking for a wallet that'll bring all the ladies running when i whip it out, but attention to detail is an important skill in life. people do notice when someone is well put together, or not, and judge based on first impressions. and "i don't give a fuck" wallet, or shoes, or clothing for that matter exhibit an "i don't give a fuck" disposition.

the m logo & carbon fiber are a bit tacky/nerdy imo. i like jbirds suggestion the best thus far, but i think i may need more space.
