I haven't heard one MF Doom, Ghostface, Pharoahe Monch, or Saul Williams for some of the best. Common is legit.

Jay Z, Eminem, Tupac, even Biggie, really? Kanye and Wayne you've really got to be joking. Danny, Mac Dre isn't that great, seen him live a number of times.

Immortal Technique is bullshit str8 edge homo with too much unfounded hate and redick conspiracies and a propensity to repeat stylistically.

Wu has definitely got to be up there with some of the best like Hieroglyphics, Tribe, Roots, Jurassic, Classic, and I'm personally a fan of Jedi Mind Tricks for some gnarl murder rap. Fugees are legit, Dead Prez or De La Soul

Honorable mentions for me are old school Outkast, or Mos Def, but I can live without his other half in Talib.
