    Conserts, Gigs, Festivals, Shows!

If there's one thing I love almost as much as driving my E30 cruising to my favorite band, it's being in the crowd as your favorite band/artist walks out on stage and screaming out your favorite songs.
My personal tastes lie in metal/punk/hardcore/alt, and the like.
But I love any kind of live music, always great when crowds get into it.

Anywho here's my live shows so far and how many times i've seen them.

Marilyn Manson (x2), Killswitch Engage! (x2), Bleeding Through (x2), Arch Enemy, Unearth, As I Lay Dying (x2), I Killed The Prom Queen
36 Crazyfists, Opeth (x3), Bullet For My Valentine (x4), Soundwave Festival 2007, Linkin Park, Avenged Sevenfold (x2), Underoath (x2)

Parkway Drive (x4) <-- I run past the camera @1:55 after being surfed XD

Atreyu (x2), Bring Me The Horizon, The Used , +44, Deftones, Senses Fail, The Devil Wears Prada

    and upcoming stuff!

    MEST - Nov 2010
No Sleep Till 'Brisbane' festival - Dec 2010
    Linkin Park - Dec 2010
Big Day Out - Feb 2011 (w/ Rammstein + fingers crossed for Blink182)

    I love a good mosh.
So whats your favorite consert? show? gig? Do you have any upcoming, awaiting tickets, just grabbed some or waiting for the release?
    Awesome live music moments?

I typically don't get to go to good shows since none of my friends like good music. This month though I did see Story of the Year and As blood runs black. Stick to your guns was headlining for as blood runs black, and I was pretty stoked to see them since I had never head of them. I don't know if it was the shitty venue or what, but I wasn't that impressed with them live. Their albums are pretty good though.

They are coming to Australia in the next month or so, probably going to be a pretty cheap show to check out.

I saw Rage Against the Machine in 2007 at the Rock the Bells festival in San Francisco. I clawed my way up to the front... it was epic.

Just saw The Black Dahlia Murder who headlined for Goatwhore and another band from cali. earlier this month. Best metal show Ive seen! Going to see Darkest Hour, Vail Of Maya, and Periphery on Dec 12th in Richmond. So stoked to see my favorite band. A Day To Remember is playing on Nov.4th but cant make it. Local shows everyweekend ftw!

Australian Soundwave Festival 2012 just got announced here. Definatly one of the best lineups we've ever had.

felt like sharing. Hopefully my knee surgery isn't done anytime soon (torn acl) I'd hate to miss out

When I was in highschool I went to 2-3 shows a week. In the 6 years Ive been out Ive probly been to 4 shows(not including a few local gigs I had with an old band). It was my only hobby before I got into cars.

Best event would have to have been Hellfest '04...the Band list is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hellfes...festival)#2004

Concerts are what I blow most of my money on. Im not really a metal head but i'll go to any concert as long as it isnt teen rock, screamo, or country (which almost all concerts are around here). I always have to crowd surf even if it means getting thrown out. Cant remember all the shows ive been to but here are the ones that stick out

Yellowcard, Blue October 2008? First real concert, first mosh yellowcard wasnt even headlining and had 3 encores
Theory of a deadman, papa roach 2009 first crowd surf
Tech n9ne 2010 halloween concert every girl dressed slutty, caught an elbow to the mouth in a wall of death and f'd my braces up
Anarbor march 2011 small shady venue got on stage sang part of fat lip
MCR, Blink 182 sept. 2011 cause it was blink 182!!

Lately ive noticed all the shows I go to crowds just dont get that into it and theyve been getting younger but if I find out somebody I like is playing and its within a 5 hour drive im there

When I lived in New Orleans there were too many shows to even remember but some of my favorites came from Voodoo Fest and Jazz Fest.

Red Hot Chili Peppers & The Meters - Voodoo 2006
Rage Against the Machine - Voodoo 2007
Bruce Springsteen - Maple Leaf bar after Jazz Fest 2007
Hollywood Undead, Stone Sour, Avenged Sevenfold
                          Bad Religion & Rise Against

those are some of the more recent ones
