Not E30 but Exciting!!

Just heard from my Senator's office that they were able to get me and my wife congressional launch tickets for the Nov 1st shuttle launch(nice 6 day notice). Its been on our want to do list for years and it looks like we are now doing a last minute trip to florida! The senators office has been great (calling and updating me) on this request for a while. Senator Cornyn has my upcoming vote :)

Has anyone done this? Any suggestions?

Uuum I use to live down that way in Fl. when I was in the Air Force. I could see the launch from just outside our shop door. It is cool as hell to watch.

I like Cornyn either way. (Texas, gun rights, farm bill, etc). Just excited his office was able to get these tickets. Only a few were able to get them. Never been to a launch and with the democrats closing the door on space, this will be one of the last times to witness a launch.. Ill try to get some good pics and post up next week!
