      if the symptom is:
      download movie
      doubleclick
      opens to Quicktime
And then you get a grey box saying that itdidn't work....
      Run:mplayer2

I this really should work. Why? So we've all downloaded porn, likely quite a bit of it over time. If you say you've never downloaded porn then you're gay. We've all been 15/16 and not getting any at the time, and needed a way out of those trying days. When you're in your mid-teens and realize there is more to life then 10 second movie clips, its a pretty exciting day. Anyway, so we've all downloaded a movie and been like,"YES this should kick ass.." and then ended up opening it and having it crap out on you. Now you're like,"FUCK THIS, I just waited for an hour for nothing?! and it looked to good too...."
So, while being dejected and slightly pissed off about your mis-fortune during your afternoon porn quest, you decide to delete the file.
Well, one day i downloaded a car movie, and the same thing happened. I had enough, so i went on google and did some reasearch. Ultimately, I found that most files that will not play in Quicktime or in WMP will play in the Mplayer2. So, if your files aren't playing in WMP or in Quicktime, don't through them away, try opening them with mplayer2 in the run command. This problem however does seem to be the most prevelant with porn. HTH.
