Oh really? And who's going to be producing and selling this legal, taxed marijuana suggested by the picture in the post above mine?

in which case one could simply grow their own and only have one person to blame for the strength, taste, taxes on 'corporate' weed

plus anyone who knows anything knows that you continue to do good business by producing and selling a quality product at a value. it's the same for furniture stores, auto repair shops, alcohol, tobacco, or weed.

RAxe, you don't need to get your panties in a bunch because you stand to lose profits over legalization

Yeah for sure, that's a great solution. Everyone simply grow their own marijuana right along with their own vegetables, cattle and chicken in their tiny suburban backyards.

You and I both know that when production goes up, quality goes down.

we agree, although i sense great sarcasm. that would be the ideal soltuion IMO. Personally, I hate having to deal with skeevy motherfuckers for a little bit of green....paying stupid prices...I fucking hate drug dealers. weed is my favorite after-dinner drink, so to speak can ya dig? why can't i go to the ABC store and pick up a pint of crown royal? gotta go buy some moonshine off of 'jordan'

                oh metaphors and similes

as for production up, quality down...generally, yes If all of the production is from large farms...can't really argue against that one.

but if it ever became legal to grow for personal use, I can tell you that I would try my best to grow the best.

                    I don't touch the stuff.

imsotyerred, if you have the time and resources to cultivate your own supply then by all means go for it, but I can't see that being a popular option among your typical user. The affordable, commercially available product will be watered down and/or chemically/genetically altered and enhanced to appeal to the widest range of consumers at the cheapest production cost to the manufacturer. That's just how the game is played. See: tobacco, alcohol, meat, fruit, vegetables and pretty much every other consumable product on the market.

I could definitely see myself obsessing over perfecting growing bomb ass ganja for my own use. how hard could it be to start? It's a plant

                        ^ a weed no less.

Still, i dont care about the quality at all. I dont smoke, don't care, and all the potheads have always pushed for legalization, so its their own damn fault.
