@lga714 : BFBC2 is a way different game than any of the COD games. COD is small maps and veeerryyy restricted gameplay. I <3 BFBC2 because you can blow shit up, drive vehicles and go anywhere you damn well please on the map..

This game is awesome.
Campaign is well balanced, has great graphics and story has me locked on the couch.
Multiplayer is sick, if your playing local, you can choose from all the guns and all the attachments from the get go. Haven't tried online yet, but Im sure I wont be disappointed.
And Zombies, what can I say, its retarded fun, a little hard but great fun.
The only disappointment is no special ops like cod:mw2, but multiplayer should keep me pretty busy so Im happy.harry/harout

I'll agree with almost everything dermeister said in his detailed post.
Sniping is total bullshit and non-useable.
The RC cars are overpowered for a 3 kill streak.
Lag, but that is expected.
SMGs are the king of weapons.
There is little diversity, and the perks do very little to help change anything.
Game grouping and map selection sucks.
Inconsistent hit damage.
Overall, I'm not impressed. No diversity, lots of camping and hiding in dark spots.
The Zombies addition isn't much fun. Really tight spaces, really dark, no where to hold ground. Plus, only two maps? They couldn't come up with one or two more? Stop designing weak ass arcade games and secretly inserting them into the game. No one bought the game for that, jackass.-tim

Sniping was the same as previous games, where in open levels, I could get a good killstreak going. Harder in Core, easy-peasy in Hardcore.
RC cars may be better off in the 5 kill slot, but they are too much fun, and therefore deserve to be used more often!
Agreed, lag was bad, but on par with previous console games.
Didnt really use the SMGs, but wasnt dominated by them. The M14 is fuckin amazing.
Diversity in what everyone else was using, or what you were using?
Maps are still too new to me to consider them boring yet!
Agreed on inconsistancies in hit damage, but maybe they increased contrast between shots to vital areas like chest/torso/head, and less vitals like legs/arms/helmet. I seem to here the 'headshot' noise when i shoot people, but it doesnt give me the headshot, like i hit them in the helmet. ?

All of my thoughts were based on team deathmatch and groundwar games.
As far as diversity, I mean it in a general sense. One gun from another doesn't seem to have much of a difference to it. Sure it makes a different sound, but I have to put 6 bullets into a guy wether it is a SMG, AR, light machine gun, or even pistol. Perks don't seem to add much effect to the gameplay.-tim

I play mostly Search and Destroy, I find it slows the gameplay down a whole lot and makes it much more tactical. Nobody fucking plays that game mode it seems like. It's a shame as that game mode is actually requiring that you are somewhat skillful.

did i mention i like the m14? (for those of you long-time COD players, the m14 in BO reminds me of the effectiveness of the M1 Garand in in COD1/2/3)
