Last night, I went and saw Chelsea Grin, I Declare War, American Me, and Verah Falls. Damn good show. My neck hurts.

I love IDW & American Me. I've seen both bands many times, even played a show with IDW once. Solid dudes for sure. I used to like Chelsea Grin but I can't say I'm a fan of their more recent material.

Did I Declare War play Misery Cloud? Chelsea Grin is one of my favorite bands. Each album gets better :evil:

Infant Annihalator is pretty fucking good for what started out as a "joke". This album rules.



This band is pretty cool, been jamming this lately.



Everybody knows ROS but their new album is killer too.



And probably my favorite recent album release.

Technically, I didn't stay for Chelsea Grin. They're a little to scene kid/screamo for me. I went almost exclusively for American Me, they're from Portland. One of my favorite HXC bands. Also went for Verah Falls, they're from Portland, as well. I Declare War was fucking SICK. At The Skylines and Upon This Dawning were supposed to be there too, but they had to cancel due to vehicle accidents en route.

Not liking their new album, their first two albums are fucking brutal.


Not sure if you guys are into "Slam metal", it is pretty much the most brutal style with no fucks given unlike waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles ass Deathcore waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffless.

I cant get into the newer metal. I liked it when I was in HS but now it just all sounds really juvenile to me. Thats just me. Not saying its bad or anything I just dont get it anymore. lol
Most of the bands I like now ether broke up, or half the band is dead, which is to bad because you cant go see them anymore.
