1 series?Hmmm... Most of the cars named in the first post were marketing failures. I wonder if they need to be reintroduced. But, what if a modern e30 was offered? It was a medium size car in its days, now it would be considered a compact. Don't add weight or electronics. Just replace the old M20 by an M50 or N54. Make the car a bit wider (e30 M3 style), and you'd have a winner.Leave a comment:

Phaeton is back next year.
G8 never went away in it's domestic market. Here it sold only so so, Don't think it'll be back for the public market due to that unless it comes back as a fleet vehicle like the Town Car/Crown Vic.Leave a comment:

Not a car, so much as a philosophy.
I want to see relatively (in today's standards) lightweight, fun to drive, manual transmission RWD cars. Less than 300lbs, in the 250-275hp range, preferably with a big turbo'd four tuned for midrange.
Bring in the cost in around $25k and they will do great.
I would have purchased a Genesis R-Spec, but they are so heavy. Nearly 3400lbs IIRC. Too much for a car that only has 225hp.Leave a comment:
