    What are my iphones worth?

I want to sell a couple old iphones on craigslist.

One is a first generation that has a couple minor scratches on the screen, and a bunch of scratches on the case. I dropped it a lot, but remarkably everything on the phone is functional.

The other one is a 16gb 3g. It was my mom's phone, and she took very good care of it. The only scratches on it are from the case she had on it. She took the case off to clean it once and the phone fell about 18 inches off of the coffee table and the screen shattered.

I know they're not worth a lot, but they're not worthless either. I might as well sell them rather than let them sit in the desk drawer forever. What should I list the two of them for on CL?

ebay it. they go for a lot suprisingly. the screen replacement kits are cheap, so people buy busted screen phones for pretty high prices since its a cheap fix. I just looked at completed listings on ebay:

And is this what I need? I had to take apart my first gen one to fix the lock/power button, so I'm not afraid of doing it on the 3g.

By the way, thanks for the tips guys.

Dude people will pay fucking.. A LOT for busted iphones. Especially if you fixed the screens/cases, unlock them first, and jailbreak, and stick it on Ebay. Be willing to ship itnernational and you can recoop some change back. More than you'd think. This is how I make quick cash for stuff I need. Works well every time.

Nice, I could use some dick-around funds for the rest of my 5 speed swap parts. My first gen one is jailbroken and has just been sitting in my desk since June. And I had to tell my mom not to throw hers away. I'll fix the screen, restore and then jailbreak it. Easy enough.
