I just realized Washington is hella close.

I'm in San Jose, CA. 8 hour drives are absolutely nothing to me now (LA traffic still pisses me off every time though), so I figure I'd be able to do a 10-15 hour drive, I always had this idea that Washington was somewhere in the middle of the country, but after a random visit to yahoo maps for something, I scrolled up the map a little bit and saw Washington, and my jaw just dropped lol. I'm definitely planning road trips for next year!

So.... whens a good time of the year to go? I'm thinking Seattle will definitely be one of the places I hit up, are there any big car meets that I should be aware and plan to visit? I should probably spend some time in Oregon on the way too

Yeah my friend was telling me last time he was there it was nothing but rain... but I've never been outside of California before (I've been to other parts of the world, Canada, Germany, Iran, Spain, London, Amsterdam, France, Italy, but never another state) so I want to see what's up!

Seattle is kinda cool sometimes. But that's about it. If you are the outdoorsy type there's lots of good hiking on the olympic peninsula.

The fact that you say the word "hella" should have indicated right off the bat that you weren't too far from wahington.

If it wasn't for Portland, Oregon would just be a waste of space. Lol. I remember taking the i5 scenic route home from visiting family in Washington and I nearly ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere. All the gas stations close at about 9 pm and they wouldn't even let me pump my own gas! What's up with that? Also, why do all northerners think Southern Californian people are slobs otherthan the fact that most are?

haha and I thought here in NJ we were the only state where you don't pump your own gas.
