Wow, the intelligence of some people. That's something that I can see a 16 year old, brand new driver doing whilst trying to impress people. Even after he was fucking retarded and did that, I'm sure he could have diffused the situation by simply saying something like, "Shit man, I'm really sorry. That was incredibly stupid of me. I'm sure my insurance will cover it, but if not I will see to it that it is repaired and in better condition than it was before that happened." Something to that effect may have been damage control.

Hell no. If it was I would have rolled up and beat the shit out of that kid for ruining the caddy. In fact none of the e30 guys act like that at all. These are meets that are comprised (if you couldn't tell) of mainly teenagers. There used to be a big VW meet downtown, but it started getting over run with this type of duchebaggery, so we all started going somewhere else. Now it is a sushi meet across the city.
Halston (dinanm3atl) was just lucky enough to witness this BS. I am positive it happens everywhere across the country. It sucks when all you want to do is meet up with your friends, eat some food, talk cars, and plan the next meet.

FYI, the whole "books have covers" thing is funny, but if I lived my life by that motto, I would have never lived in the following states Virginia, Texas, California, Montana, and Washington. I am glad I don't follow that rule.
