So far all I've seen in this thread is fanboy bullshit for one console or the other. I have and regularly use both.
PS3 Pros
Higher spec machine with the capabilities for greater games, however, as it doesn't hold as large a share of the market there really aren't that many games for it or anyone creating games to utilize the full potential of the console. Maybe FFXIII and MGS4, haven't bought GT5 yet so I can't pass judgements on that.
Logitech G25/G27, there isn't a racing wheel/pedals for the xbox that even comes close.
Blu Ray, meaning if you want some dope as fuck game with amazing graphics it doesn't have to be on five discs like it would with X-Box.
X-Box Pros
Controls are far more ergonomic and the buttons are more solid. Triggers feel very good.
Much greater game selection.
Much greater online play as you would expect since you have to pay for it.
Cliffs
For media/fancy graphics and in depth RPG's/Sims: PS3 is the way to go.
For pure gaming fun and online play: X-Box is where it's at.
