          Microsoft hasnt released wether its backwards compatible or not yet. I hope it is.

            Well the said last night that there would be downloadable content to HALO, and bungie says there is no HALO3 in the works, so i would assume it would be backwards compat.
            They also made reference to current games that support 1080i finally being able to shine.. another supporting factor.

                I didn't want to read all that crap; what's better about this than Xbox? Is it a whole new system, or more like an update like the new PS2?

                    Seems like a complete new system. Has three processors, and Xbox Live is actually worth getting now...this thing sounds revolutionary. I can't help but laff at the specs though... made up words out of Matrix or something. Read a few of the specs and stuff... but don't get too into it. Hype kills.
