How many of you put off papers until the day before?

Back in the 1980s when I was a student in graphic design, I would start working on a project the evening prior to the presentation. With a little help from "chemicals" in powder form, I could work all night and come up with a stroke of genius.

Some of my best college papers were done the night prior when we had a month or two to come up with shit. I am one of those people who works better under pressure.

Like a lot of the other posters, I work best under pressure, but I always need to make sure I manage the pressure. I do enough preparation to feel some stress, but not an overwhelming amount. The night before something is due I am definitely still working but I've never pulled an all nighter.

Doing it now on a 3 page paper due thursday. I will continue to do so untill wednesday night. It's only 3 pages.

As a serial underachiever, I was the king of procrastination in high school. I remember having a paper due in three different classes, all on the same Friday. I wrote a five minute speech that I had to give for English class at midnight. That morning, while everyone else was giving their speeches, I was frantically writing a two page essay for Spanish class. During Spanish class, I wrote a two page essay for French class. After I handed in my French essay, I walked out of that class, down the hall and out the door right next to the vice principal's office. I kicked the door open and screamed "FUCK YEAH!" as I left. It was only lunchtime. I didn't give a shit.

3 page research project due tomorrow, started it at 10am, finished at 4pm. came out 7 pages. i've done all the extra credit for the course, so if i get docked for going over-length, oh well.

next 2 papers due friday. writing them on wednesday because i have class thursday.

I put it off all the time. I used to be better at the BS as well but the papers are getting more difficult. Its a horrible habit.

Well has anybody heard that saying "there's better living through chemistry"? I think there is certainly at least better studying through chemistry.

got my hands on some study aid and I'm going to rip this paper apart now, let the rage begin.

Far too many times. HS wouldn't be the same without it.
Right now I think I'll start on my AP Gov Bill Rough Draft. It's due next week. :D
