16 year old young punk skier here. Me and my friends still ski :woowoo:

Hitting Kirkwood this weekend, although I have a season pass to Dodge Ridge. Its a small resort, but I have family nearby and my friend has a cabin about 30 minutes away and I go with his family nearly every weekend during the season.

Current set up: Line prophet flite skis with Marker Griffon bindings and my Solomon park boots. This weekend will be my first outing with them, although I demoed a pair and they felt great.

Rock/park set up: Older pair of K2 silencers (narrow, only an 82 midwaist IIRC) and another pair of Marker CC 10.0 bindings. These have been demoted to early/late season days and park/jib because they're thrashed

My parents gave me a season pass to a small resort but I'm hoping to hit up some of the bigger resorts in Michigan like Boyne. It's been ages since I've had the time/money to go to a nice place. I love carving the biggest hills and flying off the biggest jumps I can find. I envy you west coast people so much. I would do anything to spend a week at a place like Mt. Bachelor.
GH eh? How have I not seen your car. I'm originally from Muskegon. Hows the snow down there?

i just am debating between spending the 50ish for a day there or saving more and staying at a resort like snowshoe or traveling to mass where i can stay with a friend.

Right now, I've got 2 boards, a very good condition 163 Endeavor demo board that I got for $20, and a 168 Rossignol ex-rental (also in very nice shape).

I get out every chance I get, and ride hard every time. Not so much into throwing big air and tricks anymore, but I will always hit the little kickers and small stuff like boxes and rails in the parks. I live 25 minutes from the base of Mt. Bachelor, one of the premiere resorts in the PNW. Check it out!

Oh Man, Bachelor is the SHIT!! I'm going on a trip to Bend for new years. This will be 15th season. I love snowboarding. Anybody splitboard? I've gone riding at least 15 times this season and have yet to touch a chairlift. Heres some pics from my first day of the season. http://mattheweklund.zenfolio.com/paradise

I'm up in the UP so I've already had a few days at the hill. I'm riding a full Burton setup I got for cheap. Jeremy Jones 156 '06 board with decent Burton boots/bindings.
