    I rock a 152 salomon. solid board. I was in mammoth during the blizzard a couple weeks ago. fantastic although alot of lifts were closed to do excessive powder lol.

    you flat-out need a wider board, man. your toes shouldn't be able to hang over at all.

    I live in Winter Park, CO, and currently manage a ski/board shop across the street from the resort. I get out 60-80 days a year. Right now i'm riding a K2 Darkstar with Rome Targas and 32 Superlight boots. I love it but the Darkstar & Targas are dying a slow death. Park riding is hard on gear. Pic of me, spinning cab 5 iirc, over 2 50 gallon barrels last year;

    And a kinda artsy one of me on the wall ride in Dark Territory a couple years ago.

    I fucking love snowboarding, can't wait to get out of work, so I can ride for the next 3-4 days, w00t!

    Same here, I have to tighten the right binding (walking foot) a couple times until the boot sits right, which is annoying.
    Can anyone recommend a good type of binding that doesn't do that? Doesn't neccessarily have to be a certain brand.
    Going on a quick one day trip thursday, before I get hammered on New Years.

    ya after yesterday i realized its time for new bindings. once i got off the lift i had to tighten my binding 2 or 3 times till i got get it tight enough and i would still have play between my boots and the board. Any one looking to sell some binding that will fit a 11 boot haha

    LOVE snowboarding. Been a lifetime skier and made the switch to boarding 5 seasons ago. Love the fluidity of the sport. Less edges, so it sucks when it's icy, but still fun nonetheless. Snow is snow to me. Mostly into free-riding. I'll hit some kickers here and there, but not really a park rider at all.

    Gear-wise, I had a new (FREE!) board every season until my buddy lost his sponsorship from Rossignol, so now I ride a Burton something 159 with the new binding system (whatever it's called) and the cheapest bindings that fit it. My boots have broken laces and no insoles but whatevs, right?

    Can't wait to hit up Whistler with my best friend and his woman in 2 weeks for 2 days of riding and 1 night of drinking excessively.

    Love snowboarding, live in the wrong place for the hobby. I live about 2 hours away from snow and we dont have a very long season. Ive been riding for about 4 years but I am still not crazy good since I only get to go up to 3-4 times a season if I am lucky.

    Just got a tech nine board/binding combo at the end of last year, SnowBowl just opened xmas day so I havent even gone yet... Getting some new boots from my pops this week as well.

    Buy demo boards after the winter season. You can get awesome gear dirt cheap.
    Ex-rents can be good too, but they tend to be beaten a lot more because ppl don't give a shit.

    I live 15 min away from Massanutten. It gets boring after the first couple days you go there. You should try out Snowshoe, WV! It is a lot bigger and has a wider range of slopes.

    I've only been snowboarding for 4 years or so but havent had the chance to go this year. I need a new board setup since Ive way out grown my 15 year old Sims. I cant afford 700$ for new gear and 150$ for a pass.

    I ride. I've been riding forever. Started on a "snurfer", graduated to a B. Backhill, then to a Lamar. After that I whored myself out for years. Now I own 3 Nitros. I really only ride one though. I ride a de-tuned short board (for me), park and half pipe. I will ride anything, but half pipe is my love.
