Yeah, cause even at 180mph all 4WD cars hug the road like glueOriginally posted by permitMaybe this time the cars will drive like they have RWD  (Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit II had very unrealistic driving because you couldn't throw the end out going 180 if you tried; they all drove like 4WD cars).

Stop being difficult, if you've played the game you'd know what I'm talking about.Originally posted by DigitalwaveYeah, cause even at 180mph all 4WD cars hug the road like glueOriginally posted by permitMaybe this time the cars will drive like they have RWD  (Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit II had very unrealistic driving because you couldn't throw the end out going 180 if you tried; they all drove like 4WD cars).

I remember playing this game as a 7 yr old. I always chose automatic, not knowing what manual was, then one day I decided to try manual.Originally posted by BMW BMXERYa, I think you could drive off the road/cliff or something too.Originally posted by arsevaderNope. I think he's talking about the original CGA version with the 4 colours. You would hit something and your windshield would have all these spider cracks on it.Originally posted by rwdriftNah that's Hot Persuit. Even before that.
That's old school baby. I used to love that game to death.
I kept hitting the redline and in this game, the second the needle hits redline, the windshield cracks and ur car is gone. LOL
Boy let me tell ya, how frustrated I was, going 47mph the whole way down the road, tapping at that up key.Comment

HaHa Sweet ;)GD: Does any of the NFS team own particularly distinctive cars?
LP: I'm lucky enough to have picked up a sweet "second hand" M5... my dream car! It allows me to take the family to the grocery store and still have some fun on my way to and from work.

That is definitely Test Drive 1. Not Need for Speed that was sponsored by Road and Track.Originally posted by permitHmmm, that doesn't look familiar at all. I'm talking about the original Need for Speed for the PlayStation.

The driving physics were muuuuch better in the Underground games. It was very easy to tell they actually tried to make a difference between RWD and FWD.The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.Comment

Yeah, especially in the drift mode. Underground is by no means a real-life physics engine, but definitely one of the more fun arcade-style racers, if for nothing more than the sensation of speed alone.Originally posted by hamann318isThe driving physics were muuuuch better in the Underground games.
