I have an old set of teh original trilogy tapes formt he 90's and Lucas talks about goign back and redoing 1,2,3 trhen going on to 7,8,9. They actually reserved the rights to those episodes but Lucas says he is gettign old and wants to do other things with his life and otehr movies besides star wars. Episodes 7,8,9 would be about the rebuilding of the republic, the rise of the new jedi order and the destruction of the remnants of the empire. They are making a live action television series based on the events between episode 3 and 4 and Lucas is supposed to have a lot of influence on it.

I don't know if you've seen Carrie Fisher or Mark Hamil latley but they hardly look like they did....in fact I think Carrie could play Jabba the Hutt if they remade Return of the Jedi...I don't see how they could do episode 7,8,9 now unless Leia become's trailer trash and Luke gets a beer gut.

what significance was yoda telling obi-wan about speaking to Qui-Gon Jinn at the end?
I am not sure, but I am guessing its introducing the way that Obi, Yoda, and later Anikan can communicate with and Luke can see them at the end of episode 6.sigpic

All through out the movie all the ships have these technologically advanced electrical systems, all these HUD and digital read outs, then at the end, they show Darth in his brand new Destroyer and it goes back to the old style of big red and white buttons. His deck soliders or whatever you would call them look bad ass though, some futurisitc Nazi or something.

Originally posted by Eurospeed88The only real gripe I have is all of the amazingly detailed gadets, droids, ships and everything are present throughout the entire movie, as with Episodes I and II, but then at the end of Episode III, cut to the bridge of the Star Destroyer with Plapatine and Darth Vader, and all of a sudden, it's 1977 again, with big giant switches and big blinking lights, sitting on the fronts of big walls that look like computer banks from UNIVAC. If his plan was to at the end of the film, return to the low-budget style of the orignal 3 films, why not do it throughout all of Episodes I, II and III? As I'm sure I'm agreed with by just about everyone, the overuse of CGI and a a budget that would make Bill Gates blush are what left me feeling cold toward the new films.
