    Anybody own Limp Bizkit CD's?

To make a long story short, my head unit has a security feature where you set a CD to be the security disc and the unit locks up if its been unplugged, and you unlock it with the CD. Well, I had the power off from mine and the P.O. didn't send me the disc, but he told me what it is and said he lost his.

I am looking for an early copy of Limp Bizkit - Significant Other. Apparently he said that the later versions of it don't work, but I would be willing to try it.

If you have a copy of this, I will pay for shipping if you let me borrow it and/or buy buy it from you. If you have any friends that are Limp Bizkit fans, ask them as well. I can't find this CD anywhere around town.

I'm assuming it's an eclipse head unit, I've heard that some times if you don't use the SAME disk (as in, the very same one you used to program with) it still might not work, the unit can remember the discrepancies on a disk also. (no disk is the same as another). I was told by a shop that the disk you use to program with should be stored/protected as to not get scratched :? , not sure if that is true or not, but if another disk doesn't work, you may need to call Eclipse or take it to an "authorized" dealer. Just trying to forewarn you just in case, good luck with the unlock.

I was afraid of that. This is such a pain in the ass.

I wouldn't worry too much, if you do have to call Eclipse, they are a great comp to deal with. When I first moved to TX I wanted a newer eclipse model than the one I had, so I went and got my first 55060 from a local shop. After having the unit for only a month, someone broke into my car and stole it (my old car, not my bmw). I called Eclipse and faxed them my police report and insurance papers, they were VERY helpful on the phone and they sent me my new one in about two weeks time (no charge at all to me, not even shipping). ESN maybe a pain some times, but it saved me 900+ dollars.

BTW, how did you install it, did you have the PO's disk then?

                      .

So far I think Eclipse sucks. I have called 3 times and everytime, they have given me different information. I have no idea how it worked the first time I installed it.
