    And some places easily see 500-600" a year. With pretty much all of the good AWD systems you are going to see a big hit in gas mileage. The TDI Audis would probably get the best mileage, but your paying a lot more up front.

      Really? Where in the US averages 500-600" of snow, or 41 to 50 Feet. The highest average in the US is in Valdez Alaska at 326" each year.
